Overview
OutLapse is a race weekend session countdown tool for pit wall engineers and crew members. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it. We collect the minimum necessary to operate the service — no analytics, no advertising, no data selling.

Information We Collect
Account holders (engineers) provide an email address to create an account and receive a license key. A password is set on first login. We store your email and a hashed version of your password — plain text passwords are never stored.
Crew members who join a session via the viewer link provide a first name, last name, and email address. This is used solely to manage access seats within your team — up to 15 devices per account. It is not used for any other purpose.
Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. OutLapse never sees or stores your payment card details — only your subscription status.
Information We Don't Collect
- No location data
- No usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- No advertising IDs or device fingerprinting
- No third-party tracking of any kind
How We Use It
The information we collect is used only to operate OutLapse: authenticating logins, managing crew viewer access, syncing event data to your devices, processing your subscription, and sending transactional emails (welcome, password reset, payment failure). Nothing else.
We do not sell or share your information with anyone.
Third-Party Services
OutLapse uses Stripe for subscription billing — your payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy. Infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare. No advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media services receive any data from OutLapse.
Data Retention
Account data is retained while your subscription is active. Crew viewer records are held until the engineer removes the device or the account expires. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
OutLapse is a professional tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of OutLapse after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
